Players have free will to choose whether they want to ingest other beings.

Ingesting dead meat

As a player consumes other beings' dead meat, they incorporate that being's existence (and energy). This breaks the One Only Rule to a small extent.

If the player feels physically weak, eating another being could be a quick restorative measure, even with the consequences of having dead energy being digested into the player's energy.

Not ingesting dead meat

As a player advances their magick skills, they will aim for purity. Being clean from ingesting other beings is part of the process.
